| AKA is proud to announce the new “WISHBONE” tire which brings years of 1:8 tire technology to indoor racing. The tire features dense center “WISHBONE” lug design that helps give the tire both great forward and side bite. Mark Pavidis says “Being a racer myself the AKA “WISHBONE” looks to be the tire to meet racers expectations for those tricky indoor track conditions.” The key features are: • New Carcass Design with stiffer sidewalls and 3 radial ribs on the inside of the tire to keep the tire more stable with the softer AKA compounds • Low profile pin design for less pin flex Staggered center “WISHBONE” bars to increase forward drive and side bite • AKA’s long lasting proprietary rubber compounds The tyre will be available in Super soft, soft and medium compounds, and released Feb 1st, Feb 8th and Feb 15th respectively. |
